Aussie Curves - denim

I wear denim jeans to work a lot, so I really didn't stretch myself far this week.

I did however rock a huge ass messy bun in my hair.

Bonus - although chambray is not denim, I'm including it anyway since it was during this week.

This is what I wore for class photos this year.  I hate class photos with every single strand of fibre in my body, and yet I've only ever missed one.

Blurry face, more like soft focus.

Aussie Curves - Red

I woke up this morning and released I hadn't worn red all week.  I couldn't find a red top that I know I have. I didn't want to wear a red dress.  I went with jewellery instead.

Of course Erstwilder parrots would be perfect.

This theme would have normally been pretty good timing, last week our town held it's biannual Outback Festival.  But for the first time since we moved here - 10 years ago - we went away instead. We got back yesterday.

So this week I'm celebrating just being on holidays - housework in between marking assignments and planning for next term.

One issue with having a large frontal capacity is that often button-up shirts bulge. To over come this I wear a camisole underneath and unbutton the top down to where it fits better, but this gets hot and I live in desert like conditions.

Sometimes I get lucky and find a shirt that fits pretty well over my boobs but is a better fit on my shoulders and tummy, in this case I ladder stitch the areas that look they would pull.

So that's what I did yesterday with a few new tops.

Parrots - Erstwilder

Went with the parrot earrings today from Erstwilder.  Paired them with a necklace from Rockmans. I also wore a yellow cami from Target and a top from Big W.

Aussie Curves - LBD

 

I had a fabulous time over the weekend. I had my cousin's wedding and the next day we had a drive on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. 

I found the best store, I can honestly say with hand on heart that this shop is the BEST.  It's called Johanna Designs and is in Kenilworth.

Anyway while I was there, I bought up 6  pieces of jewellery that were from the designer 'Erstwilder'. These earrings...

 

 How could I say no!

So I put the orange cheetahs with purple leggings, bangle, watch and a black beaded necklace.

 

 

You can't really tell that my tights are purple, so here they are:

Pretty darn chuffed with my effort this week.

 

LBD - Basque. I got this dress on sale for  $12.50, so I bought two, 1 in red and this one. But Myer left the magnet on and I didn't realise until I got back to the place I was staying. When I got to Myer the next day they gave me my money back. I think I've told this story before - but... two free dresses from Myer!
