Aussie Curves - Retro

Swish!

Attempting to do a little house work like a good house wife does... Actually I wore this to work today.  I have no idea what our guests to our school thought of me but I got a lot of lovely compliments.

Last years attempt I went all hippy.

This year I wanted to go a little rockabilly.

Actually, I really wasn't going to try this week with my dad going into hospital this week and me staying home sick yesterday. But,,, when I woke up today I just wanted to treat myself.

Dress - Autograph
Belt -  Probably Autograph
Shoes - Colorado
Petticoat - Ebay from 3 years ago

The only thing that is actually retro is my brooch which I bought at the Tolga Markets.

Although I love the overall quality and shape of this dress, I'm not happy that the dots are painted on and look like they will come off in the first wash.

Squish likes himself a little bit of petticoat

 He feel's so pretty.

  1. What is it with cats & clothing? My white cat treats black clothes like they're catnip!

    1. I got it from the sales as well and I think it is a great dress - I've just been worried about wearing because of the dots. How has your held up?

    1. Actually - I didn't go to school with the petticoat. It wasn't until I got there that I remembered that I had left it at school for another costume. So on it went!

    1. Thank you. It really did help - and making someone else smile is even better. Dad got out of hospital today so that was great news.
