I saw this photo on Pinterest:
I can't find it on the Zara website anymore so they must have sold out or something. But you know I wouldn't have bought it anyway. It would be just a simple gray marle t-shirt with a bit of lace running down the sleeve. I so want to sew that!!!
Here is some gray marle on Ebay: Click on the photos to go to the link.
Then I did a search for some nice lace - I went with the chunkier lace
So all I need now is my TNT pattern and I'm all set.
But while I was looking through Zara I also found these great t-shirts that I could use for inspiration:
In my Ebay travels I also found the shop that I bought my last round of dark gray marle - the fabric is on sale for $2.50 a metre at the moment so I am going to stock up. I'm actually wearing the top I made out of it right now - I wear it one I week and the fabric has held up well.
It looks a little brown in the photo but it really it dark gray and would be great for that last Zara top. I'm pretty sure I have some black pleather at home too!

Rainforest
Nothing is as nice and calming as walking through a rainforest.
We went to see The Crater which is a 68m drop down to the water and much much deeper.
Edit: because blogger has put a verification thing on my posts I can't update from my phone app and if I go to blogger and post I can't access my photos from my phone. So no photos for you!!!
Edit x 2: got some photos now!

Doing my head in
I've set about trying to merge my blogs into this one. I want to label each post from the other blogs with the name of the actual blog, and then export it all, and then import it. I've finished doing it with ThighSigh - my health blog. I managed to do all of that but the posts weren't showing up!!! I just worked out that despite ticking the box that said I wanted to publish the imported posts - they actually hadn't been published and had to do it myself... if you want a job done right...
Anyway, doesn't this blog look a lot fuller already?

I ♥ BOOKS
Author: Miranda Hart
Title: Is It Just Me?
How: Paperback
C and I like to watch QI. Have you seen it? It's a group of comedians getting asked impossible trivia questions. I have my favourite guest comedians, that includes Miranda Hart.
At some stage while I was 'People who liked this also liked' hopping IMDb I saw that she had her own TV series. So I DL it and watched the whole lot in a day. I then made C watch it all with me during the week.
So when I saw her autobiographical book in Dymocks a few weeks ago I swopped it up, made fantastical fish faces of awe, and promplty bought it.
I am trying to pace myself with this - because as shown from above experience I tend to power watch/read anything I love. So far I have read 3 chapters. In the first two I managed not to laugh our loud, I just made little squirty farty noises as I tried to keep the laugh in,,, but by the third I couldn't help myself.
If you like her TV show then you will like the novel - it's more of the same really.
Author: Diana Wynne Jones
Title: Howl's Moving Castle
How: Kindle
I do love the anime of this novel, I watch it a lot. I knew it was based on a book, but I swear the last time I looked on Amazon it wasn't there. Last night it was.
I stayed up power reading last time - I didn't finish the novel because I was too sleepy and I know when I have to stop. See - not addicted.
Ohhhh, but I love this novel. The movie really reflected so far of what I have read - it 'feels' the same and I love the authors 'voice'. It's dainty, mystical and amusing.

Chillin'
Another lazy day today. We went to Atherton and did some shopping - I bought stationery!!! This included my new diary for 2013 and two label makers, it was buy one get one free,
We also headed up to Hallorans Hill, which was were we got married - awhhh! The view was lovely.
Also have been enjoying sitting on the veranda crocheting and chatting.
While we waited for our kebabs to BBQ, we were looking into the night sky for the International Space Station.

Dammit!
There is a sale on McCalls etc patterns. I had a heap of them ready to go in my cart before dinner, but now the site is crashing :(
Edit: after a few hours they must have fixed it but when I first checked there was nothing in my basket so I started again... At some stage I looked at my basket total to find I had over 24 patterns!!! What? Apparently it had remembered my previous order. Anyhow, I got my order in - you can order up to 15 before you are charged $100 postage, but I think $50 odd is far too much already.
